Good morning, I trust you are staying safe! After the latest lockdown news, clearly, there will not be a July MBCF. I am exploring the possibility of an Autumn gig but as the rugby club is closed discussions are difficult. When the restrictions are passed 'mass people' events will probably be the last to get back to normal so I think we need to be realistic! Anyway, let's be as positive as we can under the circumstances. Our websites, social media and branch mailouts will be updated with this information. Again, keep safe.

Allan Willoughby, Festival Organiser.

We are delighted to announce that the 8th Maidenhead Beer & Cider Festival will take place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July, at Maidenhead Rugby club, Braywick Road in Maidenhead. Desborough College are having a major refurbishment during the summer shut-down. The Rugby Club have welcomed us with open arms and, lets face it, need no introduction to downing a great pint or two.

The festival will be opened on the Friday at noon by Chris Brown, the Borough Town Crier who will make his usual light-hearted proclamation.

At this year's festival we will have around 50 beers and 20 cider/perries. We will be having a craft keg bar again.

Entertainment will take place on both evenings and good quality food, including a Hog Roast and Pie & Mash will be available throughout the event

Opening at 12 Noon, the festival closes at 11pm on the Friday and Saturday.

As the Festival will be in July, keep your fingers crossed that we are blessed with decent weather as the festival is family friendly. All children under 18 will be admitted FREE, however, we do ask all children to be off site by 8pm.

Beer, Cider & Wine

The 2019 Cider and Beer lists are available so you can see the range of cask beers, keg beers + cider & perry that we will have on sale. In addition we have a Wine, Prosecco & Gin bar.

Festival Program

There will be a 2020 Festival Program before the event.

The Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead Branch of CAMRA is organising this Beer & Cider Festival.

We, along with over 200 other branches nationwide, campaign on a local level, and maintain local information about pubs and real ale in our branch area.
